Airtable Advisor, Operations Strategy
Advise enterprise marketing, creative and product operations leaders on how their teams should work, then shape the Airtable systems we build to get them there.
Role description
Our Advisors are strategy consultants in the classic sense. You sit with operations leaders at large enterprises, diagnose how work really flows across their teams, and recommend the operating model, process and system design that will fix it.
Then our consultants and project managers build it. You stay close to make sure the system delivers the outcome you defined. This is a remote contract role.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose: Lead discovery and workshops with directors and VPs to map how work moves across teams and tools.
- Recommend: Define the operating model, requirements and roadmap, and make the case to executives.
- Shape the build: Partner with our consultants and project managers so the system matches the strategy.
- Find the next win: Identify where AI and automation can remove manual work.
- Report outcomes: Turn results into clear readouts leaders can act on.
Qualifications
- 7+ years in marketing, creative or product operations, either in house or as a consultant
- Experience advising directors and executives; strategy consulting background is a plus
- Structured problem solving and clear, persuasive writing
- Working knowledge of Airtable or similar work management platforms
- Comfort leading workshops with large, cross-functional groups

How is this different from your Consultant role?
Consultants design and build Airtable systems. Advisors focus on the strategy and operating model, then guide our builders. You don't need to be a hands-on builder.
Is this a contract role?
Yes. Everyone on our delivery team starts as a contractor. Full-time roles open up over time, and many of our team choose to stay contractors for the flexibility.
Are hours guaranteed?
Work is project based, so hours aren't guaranteed. Your first project can take a few weeks to line up. Demand is high, and strong performers fill their schedules quickly.
Can I work from anywhere?
Yes. We hire worldwide. Most client calls happen during US business hours, so some overlap is important.
What does the hiring process look like?
An intro interview, a second interview with our co-founder, a background check and contract, then a one-week onboarding cohort with other new team members.

Yes. Just let us know before taking work from another Airtable partner.
